Despite a cold and foggy start we had a brilliant time this morning. We were greeted by Stephanie and a nice warm fire before getting into teams to build a shelter. Our shelters were then tested to see if they would protect us from the rain. Luckily none of us got wet and our shelters withstood the watering can test! Then the excitement really began as we all had a go at using a flint and steel to create a fire!!! Once we had made our fire we all got to toast marshmallows which were delicious! A huge THANK YOU to Stephanie for her help this morning and for her vast knowledge of how to survive in the wild.
