We were very lucky to participate in a techniquest workshop this afternoon. The children had to use their maths skills in order to help Luigi run his Italian restaurant. We had a go at slicing different fractions of a pizza, used sequencing to apply different toppings, worked out the cooking times of each pizza and calculated costing.
