Working with clay

This afternoon we had great fun experimenting with different clay techniques and had a go creating different marks on the clay using a range modelling tools. We then had a go at making a thumb pot before making the even harder coil pot! We learnt how to score pieces of clay in order to stick them together and how to make a clay glue called slip, which is a mixture of clay and water.
