Pontypridd Museum

The children thoroughly enjoyed their time at the Museum and found out lots of great facts about their home town during the Victorian era. They found out the use of a variety of artefacts before going on a hunt around the museum in search of information. They discovered lots of great facts about the Coal Mines, Evan James and James James and the Glamorganshire Canal. The children were very well behaved and showed good listening skills. We are looking forward to finding out more about our local area during the Victorian period when we go on a walk around the local area next week-weather permitting! A massive thank you to Pontypridd Museum for our visit this afternoon.

Working with Rhiannon the Artist

The children were very excited to help Rhiannon paint a mural in our school hall. Rhiannon explained to the children her plans for the wall and worked with the children to paint different sections of the picture. The final mural looks amazing and the children had great fun taking part. Thank you Rhiannon!
